Live your dreams

This quote is a good way to simply say: dream your life, but live your dreams. It is what the movie Phenomenon makes me think about, because George, the main character, which is an ordinary man who becomes prodigious because of a light that only him saw, dreams to be the man of Lace, the women who stole his heart.

What would you do to make a women loves you? Some guy would buy roses, write a poem, give gifts and do everything to make their girl of their dream laugh.

Through the entire movie, George tries to get near her but she always go away. However, he never back down: he did all he could to make Lace love him and change her thoughts about relationships, because she think that it is too much complicated. For example, George bought the chairs that she made by herself to make her think that people were loving them, he wanted to repair his car to be kind and did many other things just to make her feel happy. Many symbols shows that Lace finally loves him. The shaving scene, right after the come back of Georges at home, demonstrate that Lace finally cares about Georges because she takes care of him and we can also see a certain will to be with him. He achieved his dream, even if he knew that it was not for a long time because he was dying of his cancer. He fought for it until the end.

This leads me to say that Georges had no limit to what he was doing, because every time he wanted to learn something, he just did it. He did not tell himself: “ I can't do this! I'm not able !” He tried hard. He knew what he wanted to learn so he went into details the things that were interesting him.

Whoever who are, you've got dreams, things you wanna do and an undefined period of time that could be, like Georges, very short. So the only way to get through all you projects is not to wait for the something you think that gonna make it happens, but you, to make it happens. No matter what, live your life.
